The principal fields of activities are in the sectors of inspection / maintenance and repair of railway turnouts. This includes taking care of the associated locking-, control- and safety system components as well as of the track components.
Inspection
- Test procedures (measurement, inspection, sampling) to determine the actual state of the system (compliance with standards and defined degrees of wear)
Maintenance
- Regularly performed upkeep tasks such as cleaning, regulation and adjustment activities, tightening of connections, lubrication
Repair
- Schedulable measures to preserve the availability of a system without change of system technology, i.e. without substantial improvement in performance
